Madison Computer Works is a locally-owned family business, and operated since 1982 by two generations of the Lisse family. Currently, there are 19 employees, including Brian, his wife (Jeanne), and mother (Richelle). Together, they administer the sales, service, and financial aspects of the business. And now the third generation is represented, too, with one of Brian and Jeanne's daughters working part-time.

From its modest beginnings in the family basement in 1982, Madison Computer Works has grown to be one of Madison's largest and most successful computer stores.
