Madison Computer Works has been designing and installing networks in the Dane County area since 1985. Back in the early days, Novell was the big kid on the block. We designed, configured and installed Novell networks for the University, government agencies, and businesses both large and small. When Microsoft began offering networking in the late 1980's, we started implementing and supporting their networks as well
Now, 20 years later, we still fully design and install Microsoft and Novell networks for businesses of all sizes. Whether you have a single server or multiple servers, we can implement your network. We run multiple servers at our facilities including both a Microsoft 2003 and Novell 6.X server. Server operating systems we support are:
- Microsoft - Windows peer to peer networks (95, 98, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP) , Windows NT servers (NT 4.0, 2000, and 2003 servers), Exchange servers, Terminal servers, and domain controllers
- Novell - NetWare 3.x, 4.x , 5.x, 6.x, Groupwise, BorderManager, ZENworks, Open Enterprise Server
- Linux - Redhat, Mandrake,SUSE, Novell/SUSE
